Handworn Black Limestone

A special offer never to be missed as we will not be repeating this offer. We need some promotional images of this stone in situ. Therefore we are going to offer this out at a fantastic price.
Each of the black limestone flagstones is an overall size of 600mm by 900mm by 25mm. The thickness is even throughout each of these flagstones as it has been calibrated. The surface has been worn by hand to give a genuine old look. As the starting point is a naturally quarried flagstone with hand dressed edges the overall effect is as close as you will ever get to the real thing.
We have 100m2 of this material on offer subject to availability at the price of £42.50m2 excluding vat and delivery charges.

Honed Basalt tiles
Click on the image above to have a closer look at our Basalt tiles. These basalt tiles are honed to give a soft sheen but non reflective surface not dissimilar to honed slate.
The advantage that basalt has over slate or hard limestone is that it is chemically unaffected by acid or alkali. In addition to this it is highly scratch resistant due to its extreme hardness and high density. Allied with its very low porosity this adds up to an extremely practical durable floor.
These tiles are available the size 40 by 40 by 1.5cm for only £29.50m2. Other sizes available to order with additional stock on the way in 40 by 60 by 1.5cm and 60 by 60 by 1.5cm. We will also be stocking this stone at 2.5cm thick for exterior applications.

Here you have the oppertunity to save some money. Most of our slate is calibrated by machine. Many other dealers are however offering low priced slate that is variable in thickness so we though we would add this line for those of you on a tight budget.
The slate is still the very best quality available simply put it is gauged by hand to give a thickness between 7 and 10mm the edges are cut precisely by diamond saws.
Brazilian slate is far more durable than most Chinese and Indian slates its colour fast does not scratch and is also suitable for use outside.

Grey slate calibrated by machine from Brazil
If you are looking for a slate floor and a deal at the same time then you cannot go wrong with this offer. The grey slate from Brazil is one of the most durable slates in the world. With a very even riven surface that is easy underfoot . It is dense and has low a absorption coefficient thus it is very stain resistant even before the application of sealant. Once sealed you will have a very durable and practical stone floor that will last for years and still look great.
All of our grey slate from Brazil is machine calibrated with a flat rear side. This is an important factor as it will save you money on your installation costs as you will not have to select thicker tile first and you will use less adhesive.
