Our new system incorporates natural Porphyry on a tough mesh which makes installation of these porphyry cobbles considerably quicker and therefore cheaper than laying individual cobbles .
Porphyry as a material is commonly used on the continent as the preferred material for carriageway and pavements . A quick wander around cities such as Verona in Italy all the way up to Brussels will show how popular porphyry is .Porphyry is so popular because it is as hard or in some cases harder wearing than granite yet porphyry splits evenly like some sandstones to give a very flat regular surface.
By pre-assembling more complex patterns of the porphyry on the plastic mesh you can install the porphyry without the need for skilled labor . Additionally the rate at which the porphyry on mesh can be laid by unskilled labor is significantly higher giving a major cost benefit .
