Corfe is a new limestone we have added to our range of exterior stones. This is an extremely hard and dense stone that is suited to all applications and can as the stone is calibrated be used inside as well as outside.
The colouartion on this stone is not dissimilar to the had limestone found on the south coast of England called Purbeck. Purbeck reclaimed flagstones are now extremely rare and command a very high price and large quantities of Purbeck limestone flagstones are these days not a reality.
Corfe Antique limestone flagstones have a beige honey and occasional blue grey colouration, they are hand cut on the edges and the calibration process applied to these antique finished limestone flagstones gives a ribbed effect to the rear which allows them to be easily keyed in when laying.
We carry this Antique style limestone flagstone in a random mix of sizes to give a traditional mixed flagstone look but with a laying pattern to allow you or your contactor to identify the location of each slab.
So far we have been thrilled with the reception this new stone has had so we anticipate demand to outstrip supply during the 2008 season.
Cost per m2 for this stone is £36.50m2 plus vat and delivery.
